anyone who reads this should realise that this is a purely hypothetical post....meant for a few laughs and peace of mind....i so hope that the world doesn't end in 5 years.....too much to do....with the exclusion of getting married...

1.my grandad says so....he thinks the new generation is the stupidest... every time i see a non-Indian channel....with any actress he says all these nude ladies dancing around....well that sounds more civilised in my language...but come on...i was watching still standing....

2.my grandad is now acting at his best...every time he sees my uncle or aunt he acts like he's gonna collapse....no hard feelings grand pop...but come on...you are 87...and you can eat more chocolate than anyone i know??he tries to extract every bit of sympathy he can get...its really hilarious...i may even think of taking a video of all this when i get a video cam....

3.Doughnuts come without holes in them....self-explanatory...

4.my aunt thought that when she saw a box of Americana cookies...she checked if it was pirated??cant even start explaining??

5.Pepsi and coca cola are now being used in everything....from fuel for cars to being used as a culture medium to cultivate highly hazardous pesticides.....oh yeah and for making teeth black...the new 'in' colour..

6.the 15 year old plate that our family has been using for well....15 years has finally broken....

8.my brother didn't cry the last time he was made fun of for being over weight.

hey!!!!

so im sitting at the comp....writing this thinking about today..yesterday...daybefore...and the daybefore that...well the whole week in general...orion is a house that im proud to be in!!hell yes!!!great week for orion house...we won against pegasus...in both volleyball and football...so we're all pretty pumped up...the volleyball match with cygnus is underway...(the scheduling sucks!!!!)they won the 1st set and we won the 2nd...now we're in the middle of the 3rd...cygnus on 11 and orion on 9...but im pretty optimistic that we can win actually...our team is an all star...rajiv is spiking like theres no tomorrow...mazumdar aint on the team but heck, i havent seen anyone so jubilant whenever orion gets a point...i think he jumps atleast a metre or two when we get a point, or if we get an extra hard shot...well i think tht orion has the best cheering squad in shastri,mazumdar,myself and the common orion house student who passes by...!!:P...well we can win...i think cygnus had one too many fluke shots...we dont play pure volleyball...but we have control...ok then another topic....






ok the spaces above....well its tomorrow now...so i thought that they were neccesary...ok so cygnus won volleyball...an freakin narrow victory...25-23...well we were missing mazumdar...but we kicked some red house backside in football....we had 3/4th of the possesion...and when debaditya scored the goal of the year...well you should have seen the look on their faces...classic...shastri...well he just jumped VERRY high...well we really messed up their campaign...we need a draw or a win against aquila to come 1st...will see...




alright...its saturday...man this post is taking VERY long....just read malpani's blog today...I too am gonna start writing Bala comments on the back of my notebook...well i just hope that...she doesnt read them...if she does...guaranteed..i wont get very good marks...which wont be very good for my morale...which isnt the stongest morale any way...which cud be bad for my heath and land me up in hospital...and then welcare would make more money anyways...gems is ripping me off...the school fees are too high....but i love modern high ...and i hope i get that 50% off thingy...and i hope that i get my blazer within the week...my uncles gone off to germany, cologne...and my mom thinks that he needs to be there when I go for trial...why?? i ask her...she tells me that he has been going to them for 17 years...and the process will become smoother....frankly people...i can go alone too ...no the process will not be smoother...i think that when my uncle comes....he goes on to meet all the tailors...and we take and hour for a minutes work...maaaan!!!!!well my mom is calling me to go to sleep..heck....just because i got up at 6am.....its 2:50 pm now...i think i'll finish off deception point ...my moms telling me to go to sleep again...telling me that my aunt needs to sleep...now i explain to her....my aunt is nowhere in sight...!!!!

it aint about the random stuff...no its about unnatural happenings that have taken place in the new 11th grade....yeah... for those who havent realised..11th grade has begun....ok so reality check...(im talikin to myself here...for those tht havent realised)....until last year...u were classified loser...well not really...thts just for emphasis...(MCA!!!!!)...so yes...it was all go with the flow...like everything tht everyone else likes...zero originality....but as u know tht all has changed....u got into 11th grade...all confident and stuff...well about the confidence....that hasnt diminished one bit...im luving every bit of 11th grade....i luv the responsibility...i luv mindin classes...everything!!!!(if u wanna differ with my opinions...leave a decent comment)...and so it started..11th grade..and u got into two teams in two days...for the first time not as an ultimate substitute...but as one who gets atleast half a match...( i love goalkeeping!!!!!!!!!)so thts 2 multicoloured feathers in my hypothetical hat!!!!!!so yes.. then as u have by now read the fantasies page...i really havy to get over my stage fright......which has been bugging me since lets see........7th grade...so yeah...then i had been thinking of the battle of the bands for sometime....even spoke to achint....was ecstatic when he gave an affirmative answer!!...so i thought about it a lot...and frankly...i salute tony joe!!!the only headmaster who would even think of supporting something like this??so yes...when i saw that naren was making a band i spoke to him online....and he didnt mind...so i was even more happier(i couldnt make that grammatically correct)...and then slowly...ever so slowly...i got into it...damn!!!!i wish i cud be more articulate....but any who....im so overexcitedlyhyperisticallymadthatiwannablowmyheadapartkindathingysuchthatithinkthattheworldisabetterplace.....ok so my emotions were only half summed up in that word but i think u get the point....

The Apostrophe Simple Standard Pointless Units (ASSPU):

LPD :laughs per day-this is counted by the number of times a person says 'HA' in a span of 24 hours.Since this unit can turn out to be highly inaccurate, the Apostrophe Simple Standard Pointless Units Council(ASSPUC) has made sub-unit kinda things ie. can be used with the prefixes MEGA, GIGA and TERA.....WARNING highly inaccurate for people who have asthma.

JPD/JPH :jokes per day/jokes per hour.....to be used for completely non-bland people who can make a witty statement within a moment's notice.Due to difference of opinion among people the ASSPUC has decide to include the sub units:- CJPD/CJPH-with the 'C' standing for corny.

K : Kelvin.....used to measure the degree of hotness or coolness of a (some)body....also defined as the degree of hotness or coolness required in a guy or a girl to bring about a certain hormonal rush in (most probably) a person of the opposite gender......in simple words for the mentally mature....getting turned on.

IQ : Idiocity quotient....not exactly a unit...self explanatory.....used mainly for younger brothers and/or sisters that are commissioned by the almighty to irritate...also used for people that are continuously being stupid...for some unaccountable reason.

cm : i don't exactly know what this one stands for(open to suggestions) but is used to measure the thickness of a 11Th grade textbook.

1m : used to measure the distance between two points a metre apart.

the ASSPUC is open to suggestions for more units....

now for the post.....


the day started off quite ok....
or so i thought....

the croissants i had for breakfast made me get a little indigestion......more can be told on this topic if you call me on 0502447520 or 042855092.i am gonna get aveneeth......spinneys has never failed me before today..
but then i sat and read the paper.....u know the usual stuff.....calling my brother fat and asking him as to why he has to wear a lungi!!!(phone no. is given)
then we were off.my uncles car sounded funny today.....or was it just me??was it the cornicopia of enjoyment that i wanted to feel for so long coming close??
i dunno the car was kinda shivering.....which is weird cuz in the past 9 years i didnt feel anything from the E240....so we were off....the ride was the usual uneventful thing....getting stuck in airport road traffic(thank god for the ras al khor bridge)almost getting crushed by 2-3 trailers that apparently had side view mirrors too small for any good use.then the traffic in front of that collossal union cooperative.oh crap!!!!!!! now even shekhar suman thinks he can sing!!why oh lord why????but i think i can sing pretty decent too(this is a call out to all talent scouts). but now i am convinced....if he can sing...then i am russel peters, bono, jimi hendrix, and lets see....sting,chester bennington......ok stop!(MCA!!!!)
where was i....ah yes...the union cooperative traffic...it looked so big!!!!!!! :-( sad....sad...sad....im like 3.5 km from school wanting to take all the pics out of my 15 year old minolta(a time when zoom power was not measured in 2X or 10X but in mm which wasnt so easy to read)and this happens.....but then god....or rather a police guy(known as MAMU in the rashidya circuit) comes in this BMW blarin his loud sireny thingy....(why do i keep doing that?.... .... . .. ..... .... ... ...arrghMCA!)...so he comes....blares his sirens and goes...but he left an impact somewhat larger than what jesus and mohammad could have done.....the freakin traffic dispersed in like 20 seconds!!!now im gonna buy a little green and white car with a siren too...so i got to school...my uncle told me to underline my answeres and stuff....and oh yeah BE ALERT....dont get carried away......so i walk in my camera out ready to get a still of nishant doing a classic nishanty layup...and heck...they are all studyin?!!! how??so i proceed to ask them how this happened.to which i got was that solomon thought that we should be studyinbecause its our last exam.....yada yada yada....after which i took a classic shot of batra studyin all serious and stuff!! hard to miss.then a poetic afflatus seized me yeah yeah i rhymed for some time about....well rhymes....cant remember. then we all walked in after i took afew photos of every1 wrote the paper and got out amidst well i dont have an adjective see....ppl were such killjoys...discussing the paper(btw im just getting 70-76)(i know that you expected me to explain a little more about the paper...but ....it all very hazy)so i took around 30 odd pictures(which btw i will most dutifully scan and put up)shamveel's classsic rippin up the paper just like he promised....then we went on home....after some minor confusion where we lost mikhail for a few minutes...and his mom wasnt so frantic as i thought she wud be.and know im waitin here....dunno wot to do....batra sent me a video...which is not 5 hours long. waiting for my PS2 to load...



P.S:

i know this a very veryveryveryveryvery boring post....but sorry guys....almost got a writers block there.......will be my original self soon though.....

yes...we all had them...the cards, at least 2 of the games, and every thing that comes with it.i had a extraordinarily small collection of 174 cards,Achint had 600 and above.But is it really woorth all the hype.they have been made in 1995.its 2007 and the worlds second largest game/comic book/movie franchise still holds all the young.and the the moderately old.here are some wikipedia ideas that amused me.but the thing that gets me the most is.... i havent used the word until now in this post. :P POKEMON

Racism

The original black-skinned Jynx design and source of the controversy.This original design of the Pokémon Jynx bore a striking, but possibly coincidental, resemblance to entertainers in blackface. A strong case can be made for Jynx being a parody of or homage to the Japanese Ganguro and Yamanba fashion trends, which were extremely popular when Pokémon was first released. Blackface-influenced characters have appeared elsewhere in anime and manga - examples can be found near the beginning of Osamu Tezuka's early graphic novel, Metropolis and also can be found with Dragon Ball Z's Mr. Popo.

As Pokémon became more popular in the United States, this perceived similarity to a racist image from the United States' past offended some. Animal cruelty
The primary mechanism of Pokémon has been compared to the generally-outlawed practice of cockfighting.[21] Seen from this point of view, the game consists primarily of Pokémon trainers capturing and bartering in wild animals, coercing them to fight one another, and also features various performance-enhancing drugs to give them an edge in the fight. Some people believe that this may encourage children to commit acts of animal cruelty and illegal gambling.[22]

In spite of these allegations, Pokémon maintains a fan base that views the battling as a friendly competition between two teams of Pokémon and their trainers. Seen in this light, Pokémon are not being coerced to battle by their trainers. Fantasies

oh yeah
we've all had them and still do. they come in various types, times and to different people. ive had them and will continue to proudly do so. here are ALL of my fantasies I've had ever since i can remember.(hope i got all of them)

1. flying a plane: started in around 1995. been my lifelong dream to be a pilot. always been interested in planes and always will be. i live across the road from the airport, i get to watch the airshow for free and i can tell you one thing, i will fly a plane some day if its the last thing i do.


2. pick up a microphone and speak on a stage to atleast 47.6222 people:(started in 2000) i have IMMENSE stage fright. bugs me to the core. heck i cant even make a proper speech in front of my whole class when theres a teacher is standing nearby. i would love to get over this.my eyes start getting blurry, my knees start shaking and my voice sonds like its coming from someone else.


3. this one is similar to the previous, but yes one day i would like to get on stage with a band of my own and sing my heart out.(started in 2003)


4. get a girlfriend:(lasted from 6th grade to beginning of 7th)this was one i look back at and laugh my heart out.and hey i know you HAVE had this one so admit it.


5. write a fake letter to marisa lobo(of young times):(fullfilled in 2005) yup i did it.after careful examination of atleast 50 letters to her i wrote one my self. perfect mix of all the problems a teenager ever had. would have saved it but thought again incase my mom found out.


6. get a guitar:(started in 2003 still craving for one) i hate it when this happens. eversince i bought that meteora album, this has been like a dream. I've spent half my bus rides learning about pickups, frets and tremolos from shaun. i know allmost everything ther is to know before you start playing but never got my mom to get me one. although a 90% in boards it is guaranteed!

given above are some i wouldnt mind getting if in the budget(ibanez RG tremolo and a Les Paul BFG)

1st post

boy.. what a joyous occasion. my first blog. and what a purfect day for such a thing to happen.bloody hell. i have my boards tomorrow. im sitting jobless at home reading prelim papers from other schools.
its great actually. the fact that i didnt knowwhat a blog was until two months ago. saw a few like malpani's, SK's and kapil's. found that after the boards i WOULD be jobless enough to type out my thoughts( of which i have a good many). introduce u to sum of my pals and hopefully find what im looking for.
life wouldnt be so great if it wasnt for the boards. our class was just a large bunch of imbeciles with a few intelekkectuals(pardon me). and now the equations have changed. there are more intellectuals than imbeciles. people have turned over new leaves and dont really have the same "school is a waste of time attitude". lots of big things happening. this one month has been hectic. people like achint have started taking things seriously(kudos man). and considering the fact that his neighbour has all the makings of a serial killer thats pretty impressive... man after the prelims jump(which was a measly 11.4%)i do feel much more confident and having found new friends in some ways has boosted that to some extent.

lets take this into consideration..

a year ago. in the 1st term. life was a blast i was (yes i admit) a fully blown wannabe. i kept making castles in the air(a thought to future 10th graders. that activity is quite hazardous)and the day before the exams i felt all cool and stuff. ya of corse i did get a HUGE 67% which was the 1st time my avg went below 70. then in second term i realized that theres no point wantin to be like sumone else. the thought of the whole freakin portion for the first time overwhelmed me. but ther was improvement. i got a 72%. now i would like to point out that before these exams i felt pretty confident. but the second terms were a collossal eye opener.then yes i did find that my moms sayings of my concentration being below zero were true and worked quite a bit harder. before the prelims. i felt as if the world was coming to an end maaaan. that was BAD. but ya that kinda attitude ended up helpn and boy did i do well. got an 83.4% which was the first time i got above 80 in 3 years. so ya it did show me my potential. and now my moms telling me to pray for a 90% which a few months ago was about 5% lower. anyways thanx for listening .
future 10th graders: this is sumwhat of a warning if u guys think that u can get a 90% by studying hard only in the study leave, theree is a problem. u see the getting familiar with the portion doesnt take studying. think of the portion as a prson. now if this completely unknown person walks up to u and ask to be friends would you commit? same here . u need time to get everything into place. but hey this is ONE experience u wont forget.
